词汇教学在英语教学中具有举足轻重的作用,掌握足够的词汇是成功运用英语的关键。曾经有位学者提到:“没有语法,能表达的内容很少;没有词汇,则什么内容都表达不了。”这足以说明词汇的重要性。因此,在教学中,词汇教学始终应是英语学习的重要任务之一。笔者根据几年来的执教经验,不断进行课程实践,并且结合初中学生的求知欲强、不胆怯的特点,从中总结几点教学方法。
Vocabulary teaching plays a decisive role in English teaching. Mastering sufficient vocabulary is the key to the successful use of English. One scholar once mentioned: “Without grammar, there is little content that can be expressed; without vocabulary, nothing can be expressed.” This is enough to explain the importance of vocabulary. Therefore, in teaching, vocabulary teaching should always be one of the important tasks of English learning. According to the coaching experience of the past few years, the author has continuously carried out the curriculum practice, and combined with the characteristics of the junior high school students’ desire for knowledge and non-frustration, summed up several teaching methods.
