在过去的几年中,像AWACS这样可以在飞机上大范围监视陆地和海面的机载雷达已成为事实。因而,进行大范围的监视地面运动目标的雷达很快就随之而来了。由于这些雷达具有精确地报告敌人运动以及发现敌人各种地面车辆的能力,所以,它们无疑地对于情报的收集、信息源的测定、指挥、控制以及危险性的鉴定具有很大的作用。本文叙述了设计完成各种工作任务的机载监视雷达的基本关系以及折衷办法。文章叙述了雷达的工作能力,这些能力采用阵列天线,先进的波形以及先进的信号处理等现代技术是可以达到的。
In the past few years it has become a reality that airborne radars such as AWACS that can be used to extensively monitor land and sea surfaces on aircraft. As a result, the radar that carried out a wide range of surveillance of ground motion soon followed. Since these radars have the ability to accurately report enemy movements and discover enemy vehicles on various ground vehicles, they undoubtedly play a significant role in the collection of intelligence, in the determination of information sources, in the command and control, and in the identification of hazards. This article describes the basic relationships and trade-offs for airborne surveillance radars designed to accomplish a variety of tasks. The article describes the radar capabilities that are achievable with modern technologies such as array antennas, advanced waveforms, and advanced signal processing.
