问:什么是粉末冶金?答:粉末冶金是冶金学中比较年轻而重要的一门科学。粉末冶金的制造方法与一般的冶金方法大不相同,它的主要特点是:不需要使金属熔化而能做成产品。这就有可能处理一切高熔点金属及中间化合物,以制造耐高温的材料,满足近代科学对高温材料的要求。它的主要工艺过程是把原材料做成粉末,经过压制及热处理(烧结)等手续把它做成产品。它与陶瓷的制造方法相似,所以也称之为“金属陶瓷学”,其产品则称之为“金属陶瓷材料”。目前,世界各国都在努力进行这项重要科学的研究。近年来,苏联所发射的人造地球卫星和宇宙火箭的伟大成就,是与粉末冶金方面的卓越成绩密
