Different languages have different cultures, and different cultures pose great difficulties for translators. In this paper, the present state of literary translation will be discussed,which is helpful for translators who want to cross over cultural gaps among different languages, and which is benefi cial for them to find solutions to solving such cultural problems by finding out the reasons why we have to cross over these differences caused by different cultures in order to convey the original meaning of works.
