湖州二中座落在南太湖之滨的湖州市文教区内。学校创办于1901年,是一所百年老校,1977年被确定为浙江省重点中学,1997年被确认为浙江省一级重点中学。学校现占地近300亩,校园内草木青翠,小桥流水,环境幽雅。建筑布局合理,教学设施先进,师资雄厚。现有教学班46个,学生2400名,在职教职工1601人,其中全国优秀教师2名,省特级教师2名,还有一大批省市级优秀教师,中高级教师占70%以上。
Huzhou two is located in the south Taihu Lake Huzhou City Cultural District. The school was founded in 1901, is a hundred years old school, in 1977 was identified as a key high school in Zhejiang Province, in 1997 was identified as a key middle school in Zhejiang Province. The school now occupies nearly 300 acres, the campus green vegetation, bridges, elegant environment. Reasonable layout of the building, teaching facilities, advanced teachers. There are 46 teaching classes, 2,400 students and 1601 teaching staffs, including 2 national excellent teachers, 2 provincial special teachers, and a large number of excellent teachers at provincial and municipal levels, with senior teachers accounting for more than 70%.
