据《人民日报》载,山东栖霞县大庄头乡党委、政府为加强干部队伍建设,组织乡干部参加劳动锻炼,改造思想,陶冶情操,提高了干部队伍的整体素质, 促进了干部队伍的思想政治建设。仅据1995年统计,乡机关60多名干部全年共参加劳动1850余天,人均30多天,多者50余天。他们的经验值得提倡。艰苦奋斗,与人民群众打成一片,是我们党的优良传统。毛泽东、周恩来等老一辈无产阶级革命家亲自参加十三陵水库的劳动为我们带了个好头;邓小平、江泽民等领导人也多次参加植树劳动;焦裕禄、孔繁森、张鸣岐、李润五等为了群众的利益,为了一地经济的发展,与人民群众打成一片,同呼吸,共命运,谱写了一曲曲动人的赞歌。实践证明,在市场经济条件下,在改革开放的今天,我们的大多数干部能经常深入一线,参加各种劳动,继承和发扬了艰苦奋
