Despite many commitments, the rate of biodiversity loss across the globe continues to accelerate. In view of this, biodiversity has become a cross-cutting and important issue in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. One of the development goals clearly states the need to curb the loss of biodiversity. Other targets also indicate that biodiversity contributes to the eradication of poverty by providing Food and freshwater, urban life improvement is very important. In the opinion of author Richard Welford, “a business is both a problem maker and a part of a solution.” A study by the Economics of Ecosystems and Biodiversity (TEEB) also pointed out that “the importance of business for biodiversity can not be overemphasized ... what the firm produces and how carefully it uses the planet’s resources and Efficiency will determine the future of biodiversity conservation. ”In addition to reducing the negative impact on the environment, companies can also benefit from the protection of biodiversity and ecosystem services and increase their reputation. It takes time for positive actions to have a visible impact, and more and more companies need this understanding.
