The morphological and structural characteristics of endosperm cells are related to the quality of rice. Scanning electron microscopy has the characteristics of direct, rapid, accurate and traceability to identify the quality of rice and is especially suitable for identifying the quality of rice in the early breeding generations and screening the parents rapidly and in large quantities.
