Methods The internet of things technology is applied to the on-site radiation monitoring. The radiation monitoring and detection equipment is connected to the server, and the information is collected, analyzed and used. Results The system can achieve real-time interaction and visual communication between responders and decision makers. Conclusion The generation and widely used of the internet of things technology provides new thought and technical support for medical preparedness and response to nuclear and radiological emergencies.
