Central Soviet Union Wood Processing Science Institute has studied the use of chemical agents to prevent wood decay, moth-eaten and cracking. This experiment was carried out in the Forest Branch in three different climates from 1956 to 1958. There were about 250 test flute stacks with a volume of 10,000 cubic meters.
