遵照毛主席关于:“以农业为基础、工业为主导”的发展国民经济总方针,为了打好我省农业翻身仗,加速实现“扭转南粮北调”的伟大任务,在省革委会的正确领导下,我省机械行业的广大革命职工,决心发扬“独立自主、自力更生”的革命精神,自制小化肥设备,支援农业生产。小化肥设备中氮氢压缩机上的曲轴毛坯,原用300×300毫米的45号方钢,采用大型锻压设备加工而成。在材料来源及设备都比较困难的情况下,省革委会决定“以铁代钢”、“以铸代锻”,用球墨铸铁来制造曲轴。我厂主动承担了这项光荣而艰巨的任务。
