美国斯坦福大学的鲍哲南团队研制出了具有敏锐触感、在室温下可反复愈合的人工合成复合材料LDPE。研究人员将这种复合材料和金属进行混合,新的合成材料既具有塑料聚合物的自我修复能力,又具有金属的导电性。据悉,该材料对下压和屈曲都非常敏感,因此利用这种材料制成的假肢在关节处将有更好的弯曲度;覆有这种材料的电气设备和电线也可自我修复。
Bao Zhenan Stanford University team developed a sensitive touch, at room temperature can be repeatedly healed synthetic composite LDPE.
