塞罕坝机械林场经过40多年的建设,已经产生了巨大的生态、经济和社会效益,对此进行准确的价值核算,对于指导今后林场的发展,更好地发挥林场作为思想教育、生态教育基地的作用,都具有重要的意义。文中采用了国内外最新的理念和方法,构建了符合塞罕坝机械林场实际的指标体系,进行了大量的实地考察、问卷调查和数据收集整理,并对一些重要的指标进行了实地取样和野外观测。在既有研究成果和实地考察的基础上,文章采取了国内外目前普遍使用的对森林资产、生产(服务)及社会效益分别核算的方法。
