2004年7月15日下午,辽宁省抚顺市望花区雷锋小学的校园里洋溢着一片节日的气氛:艳丽的鲜花、欢快的锣鼓、缤纷的彩旗,迎来了五湖四海的朋友。在雷锋精神的感召下,来自全国20多所学校的206名少先队员和辅导员怀着激动的心情相聚于此,共同参加了全国雷锋小学大联盟“相约雷锋城”夏令营开营仪式。参加开营式的还有40多位老英模、10位雷锋班历任班长,以及社会各界人士。
On the afternoon of July 15, 2004, a festive atmosphere filled the campus of Lei Feng Elementary School in Wanghua District, Fushun City, Liaoning Province: beautiful flowers, cheerful percussion instruments and colorful flags ushered in friends of all corners of the globe. Inspired by the spirit of Lei Feng, 206 young pioneers and counselors from more than 20 schools across the country joined together in this exciting event and took part in the camp opening ceremony of the “Meet Lei Feng City” Alliance of Lei Feng Primary School. There are more than 40 elite models participating in the camp, and 10 Leifeng classes served as monitor, as well as people from all walks of life.
