2011年10月15日至18日,中国共产党第十七届中央委员会第六次全体会议在北京召开。全会审议通过了《中共中央关于深化文化体制改革、推动社会主义文化大发展大繁荣若干重大问题的决定》,这是新中国成立以来第一次由党的中央全会研究部署文化改革发展任务。在全面建设小康社会关键时期召开的这次重要会议,对于动员全党全国各族人民在党的领导下,推动各项事业不断发展,夺取全面建设小康社会新胜利、开创中国特色社会主义事业新局面、实现中华民族伟大复兴,具有重大的现实意义和深远的历史意义。
From October 15 to October 18, 2011, the 6th plenary session of the 17th CPC Central Committee was held in Beijing. The plenary session reviewed and adopted the Decision of the CPC Central Committee on Several Important Issues concerning Deepening the Reform of Cultural System and Promoting the Great Development and Prosperity of Socialist Culture. This is the first time that the founding of New China has studied and deployed the tasks of cultural reform and development by the party’s plenum. This important meeting convened at a critical time for building an overall well-to-do society is of great significance to mobilizing all the people of all ethnic groups in the country under the party’s leadership in promoting the continuous development of various undertakings, seizing new victories in building a moderately prosperous society in all aspects and creating a new socialist cause with Chinese characteristics. Situation and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation are of great practical significance and far-reaching historical significance.
