一、引言广东汕头市郊澄海白砂农场冬熟西瓜,品质优良。1958年冬,曾得到国家领导的好评,引起各地生产部门的注意。在同一时期内,有12个省份向该场要求供应种子,大大提高了今后各熟西瓜的生产意义和经济作用。特介绍其栽培经验,以供参考。二、品种特性澄海白砂农场冬熟西瓜,是由谢易初先生用授粉杂交培育得来的优良品种。父母本都是引进品种,母本重5—6公斤,皮深绿色、坚实,贮藏运输力强,但果形较小。肉红色,质优良,核白色而边缘黑色。父本果实重20—25公斤,长枕形,样子褐黑色。杂交
