《金瓶梅》中的许多方言口语，至今依然活在内蒙西部的方言中。现代内蒙西部的汉人，先辈大多为明朝中晚期及清代从晋陕北部迁移而来，语言亦从晋北、陕北方言演化而来。
Many dialects spoken in Jin Ping Mei still live in the dialect of western Inner Mongolia. Most of the Han and ancestors in modern western Inner Mongolia migrated from the middle and later Ming dynasties and the Qing dynasty from the north of Shanxi and Northern Shaanxi. The language also evolved from the northern and northern Shaanxi dialects.
