对于思乡的游子来说,家是什么?是故乡许久不见的亲人,还有从小在那里长大的老宅。关于老房子的回忆,诸如北京的“四合院”、陕西的“窑洞”、广西的“杆栏式”和云南的“一颗印”、客家“围龙屋”等,大都耳熟能详。但说到山东乡土建筑,鲜有能一语概括的。大多只会笼统地说,就是北方四合院样式罢了。其实,并不仅仅是“四合院”这么简单几个字就能把山东民居概括的。山东民居有的精巧,有的俏丽,有的质朴,有的富丽,一个地区一个式样,映射着历史,蕴涵着文化,这在中国是少见的。
