作者从我国大型精密机器制造极少通过三维空间测量来判定产品质量这一现象入手,分析了产生这种现象的原因和后果,从机器设计、工艺设计、外协产品质量把关、产品出口等方面进行比较,阐明在大型精密机器制造中离不开先进的计量测试设备,并指出先进的计量测试设备是机械制造业的基础。
