陈洪绶作为中国绘画史上一个极其重要的人物画家,他的人物画独特又典型,画法承接唐宋传统,融合元明文人笔墨程式,在当时及以后都产生了深远的影响。不管是他的美学思想,还是表现形式,都是中国传统人物画的典型代表,本文以他的人物画风格特征为切入点来分析中国传统艺术,理解中国古典美学,从而获得发展与开拓的启示。陈洪绶的人物画善于用有限的视觉形象,诱发观者的想象,达到“言有尽而意无穷”的境界。陈洪绶的人物画注重细节,形象取之于自然而又高于自然,造型夸张、风格独特、气韵古雅、线条刚劲多变,具有很强的古拙美和装饰性。陈洪绶以怪诞奇崛的美学趣味独树一帜,后人推崇其绘画技法、美学思想,并在创作中借鉴、吸收了他绘画中的许多有益因素。
