一、纸币的历史中国纸币的历史,始于唐朝的“飞钱”。据考证,“飞钱”的起源是随着唐朝工商业的兴起与发展而产生的,由于交通的发达,进一步促进了贸易的兴旺,从而扩大了铜钱的需要。唐朝建国之初,即把货币纳入国家计划,并以开元通宝铜钱为法定货币。虽然历代重复不断地鼓铸,但对繁荣的商业需要,仍不能适应,经常导致铜钱的不足。加之民间对铜的喜爱,铜的价格不断上涨,因此,出现了销毁铜钱,偷铸佛像、铜器等情况,而从事黑市交易的所得利益,比铜钱作为货币使用的所得利益还多。
