去年这个时候中华化学工业会正是艰难困苦,几乎无法支持下去。局外人和一般会员知道的很少,幸而五月廿八日上海完全解放,渐渐的渡过难关,不曾到关门地步,然而化学世界自三四月合刊出版后即无力续刊,停顿四个月,仍不断努力,到九月纔能复刊。虽因十一月起物价高涨而受到威胁,然而不久物价又逐步下落,化学世界才能维持出版以至今日,没有间断。论其性质,化学世界并不是营业性的刊物,既无资本家做后盾,苟财力不济,即使停办亦无所谓。不过化学工业会的立场,认为是一种任务,不便放弃,故不顾困难如何,必设法出版。幸而今年春节以来,物价稳定的下
