油茶炭疽病是油茶的主要病害,在严重发病区因病落果可达20%以上,因此该病的防治是油茶丰产措施的重要一环。病菌主要在病树上的枝、蕾(芽)、叶、果的病部越冬。次春病组织中菌丝向健部蔓延,孢子随雨露及雨夹风传播,先侵害春梢,继而多次侵染新果及叶、蕾(芽)等。夏秋时还侵染不定芽萌发梢,导致落果、落蕾、枝条溃疡和枯死。秋后可以从果皮蔓延侵染近熟种子,并可侵染花器。伤口有利于病菌侵入。每年7—9月初是果实炭疽病的发病盛期,也是 Camellia anthracnose is the main disease of Camellia oleifera in the serious disease area up to 20% or more, so the disease prevention and control is an important part of the oil-yielding measures.
