随着科学技术发展速度的加快,科技交流也越来越多,科技英语作为交流的工具正广泛地受到人们的关注。在我国,科技英语翻译也已经成为翻译工作中极其重要的一部分。而了解科技英语自身的语言特点是做好科技英语翻译的关键。本文试从科技英语的词汇、句法、语篇特征入手,着重分析与这些语言特征相对应的翻译方法及原则。
With the rapid development of science and technology, scientific and technological exchanges are also increasing. As a tool for communication, science and technology English is widely concerned by people. In our country, English translation of science and technology has also become an extremely important part of translation work. Understanding the language features of S&T English is the key to doing well in S&T English translation. This article starts with the vocabulary, syntax, and textual features of English for science and technology, and focuses on the analysis of translation methods and principles that correspond to these linguistic features.
