新的时代需要思想政治工作,思想政治工作更需要理论的研究。早在80年代初,邓小平同志就明确指出:“在工作重心转到经济建设以后,全党要研究如何适应新的条件,加强党的思想工作”。去年,江泽民同志郑重提出:“希望宣传思想战线的同志们,牢牢把握正确舆论导向,适应形势发展的要求,深入研究人们思想活动的新情况新特点,探索新形势下做好思想政治工作的规律和办法,把工作做得更好。”今年6月,江泽民同志在中央思想政治工作会议上又强调,“新形势新任务以及思想政治工作的现实状况,要求我们必须大力加强和改进党的思想政治工作。”邓小平和江泽民同志
