“名将以身殉国家,愿拼热血卫吾华。太行浩气传千古,留得清漳吐血花。”这是朱德总司令为悼念八路军副参谋长左权壮烈殉国而写的一首诗。左权是中国工农红军和八路军高级指挥员,著名军事家。1905年生,湖南省醴陵县人。1924年入黄埔军校第1期学习。1925年2月加入中国共产党。同年12月赴苏联,先后在莫斯科中山大学、伏龙芝军事学院学习。1936年5月,任红1军团代理军团长。
