日本的森林,由国有林和民有林两大部分组成。民有林在国内居重要地位,在其发展和经营管理上都有许多值得研究与借鉴的特点和经验。日本的民有林,包括私人、公司、社团的私有林及都、道、府、县(以上单位相当于我国省、市一级)、市、町、村所有的公有林。前者是民有林的主体,后者所占的比例较小。
Japan’s forests, consisting of two parts, state-owned forests and private forests. The privately-owned forest occupies an important position in the country and there are many characteristics and experiences worthy of study and reference in its development and management. Private forests in Japan include private forests, private forests of private companies, corporations and communities, and public-owned forests owned by prefectures, towns and villages as well as prefectures, roads, prefectures and counties (the above units are equivalent to our province and municipality level). The former is the main body of private ownership of forest, the latter accounted for a smaller proportion.
