近年来,基质金属蛋白酶(MMPs)和金属蛋白酶组织抑制因子(TIMPs)在肾脏病尤其是肾小球硬化和肾间质纤维化中的作用已受到人们的关注。MMPs是一类以锌离子为活性中心辅基的蛋白酶,已发现至少16种,其中MMP-1、-2、-3、-7、-9、-10、-11能在肾组织表达。TIMPs能特异性地与MMPs活性中心的锌离子结合而抑制MMPs活性,已发现4种TIMPs,均能在肾脏表达。本文综述近年来国外关于增殖性肾炎、膜性肾病、糖尿病肾病、肾小球硬化、肾间质纤维化、多囊肾等肾脏疾病或动物模型MMPs/TIMPs表达及相互关系的研究成果、并作有关评论
In recent years, the role of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) and metalloproteinase tissue inhibitors (TIMPs) in renal disease, especially in glomerulosclerosis and renal interstitial fibrosis has received much attention. MMPs are a class of proteases with zinc ions as the active center. At least 16 MMPs have been found, among which MMP-1, -2, -3, -7, -9, -10 and -11 can be expressed in renal tissues.
