People often say: “Seven things open the door, wood, rice, oil, salt, vinegar, tea,” shows that tea is one of the necessities of daily life. However, the latest research suggests that frequent drinking of tea in patients with hypertension is not conducive to the recovery of the disease. Not long ago, researchers in Jiangsu Province conducted a survey on male farmers over the age of 30 in a tea area. The systolic and diastolic blood pressure of tea farmers were significantly higher than that of non-tea-drinking groups. Statistical analysis of the survey data, ruled out the age, weight, alcohol consumption and other factors that affect blood pressure, found that tea is still a significant factor in causing increased blood pressure.
