当下中国社会对儒学的评价呈两极分化之势。一边是孟母堂、国学班的兴盛,一边是对儒学的世俗化贬抑。有朋友甚至开玩笑说你千万别去研究儒学,在中国现下研究儒学的多半是伪君子。我自然不赞同这句话,因我认识的几位研究儒学的朋友人品还是无可置疑的。但又觉得这句话的背后并不只是一个玩笑,而是一种脆弱的认同感。类似的更不堪的评价也映射出当代儒学与大众的某种脱节。造成这种脱节的原因复杂,在这里不做
The present Chinese society appraises Confucianism in a polarized manner. On the one hand, it is the rise of the Mengmu Hall and the Sinology Class, while on the other hand, it is a derogatory term for the secularization of Confucianism. Some friends even joked that you should never study Confucianism. Most of Confucianism now under study in China is a hypocrite. I naturally do not agree with these words, because I know some of the friends of Confucian character or no doubt. But think behind this sentence is not just a joke, but a fragile identity. Similar, more subdued evaluations also mirror some of the disconnect between contemporary Confucianism and the general public. The reasons for this disconnect are complex and not here
