The definition of teaching grammar and several types of teaching Grammar is a general term used to refer to the rules for the purpose of teaching or explaining foreign languages to promote or guide students to acquire the language. This definition accommodates various types of teaching grammar: learning grammar, teaching grammar, reference grammar (such as school grammar), university grammar, and linguistic grammar.
