本研究旨在考察首都师范大学一、二年级非英语专业学生的英语阅读困难。研究参与者为502名大学生,研究工具为调查问卷,用SPSS17.0软件对问卷得出的数据进行统计分析,得出:(1)此高校非英语专业的学生在英语阅读中,在词汇、语法、语篇和思维方面都具有中等程度的困难,相比之下,在词汇和语法方面的困难更大一些。(2)大一、大二的学生按高考入学分数分为高、中、低三组,其中任意两组在词汇、语法、语篇和认知思维方面几乎都存在显著差异,按文理科学生分组和按男女分组,基本没有显著差异。
The purpose of this study is to investigate the English reading difficulties of non-English majors in Grade 1 and 2 at Capital Normal University. The research participants were 502 college students, the research tools were questionnaires, and the data of the questionnaire were analyzed by SPSS17.0 software. The results showed that: (1) The students of non-English majors in English reading, in vocabulary, Grammar, discourse and thinking have a modest degree of difficulty, in contrast, the vocabulary and grammar more difficult. (2) Freshmen and sophomores are divided into high, medium and low groups according to their admission scores. Almost all of them have significant differences in terms of vocabulary, grammar, texts and cognitive thinking. According to the statistics, Grouping by men and women, basically no significant difference.
