歌仙刘三姐是流传于广西民间的古老传说。五十年代末,广西区党委及文化部门曾发动全自治区专业、业余文艺工作者根据这一传说集体创作、演出《刘三姐》。一九六一年长春电影制片厂在舞台演出本基础上改编并摄制成故事片《刘三姐》。该影片公映至今已有三十年了,它的放映、发行是广西艺术史上光彩的一页,从彩调剧到民间歌舞剧,再到电影故事片《刘三姐》,经历过这样的一个发展轨迹,这就是《刘三姐》文化现象。
Sanxian Liu Sanxian is circulated in Guangxi ancient folk legend. In the late 1950s, Guangxi’s party committees and cultural departments mobilized autonomous regions and amateur literary and art workers collectively created and performed “Third Sister Liu” according to this legend. In 1961, Changchun Film Studio adapted and filmed the feature film “Third Sister Liu” on the basis of the stage performances. The film has been released for 30 years now. Its screening and distribution is a glorious page in the art history of Guangxi. From the color dramas to the folk song and dance drama to the movie “Third Sister Liu,” it has undergone such a development path, This is the “Third Sister Liu” cultural phenomenon.
