The reaction of fertility of thermo-sensitive genic male sterile lines with different critical temperature to cold water treatment was reported. It was confirmed that cold water treatment with appropriate temperature has the effect of restoring fertility and the problems of cold water treatment, cold tolerance of materials and applications of cold water treatment were discussed
