Today’s occupant safety systems are characterized by a variety of adaptive functions that are tuned to fit the occupant’s body and location most positively and have a positive effect on helping adjust the occupant’s position before and after the collision. They can also help occupants fasten their seat belts to make riding a ride more comfortable and alert in the event of a danger. While many of the basic components of occupant safety systems (OSS) remain in the form of seat belts, airbags, these technologies are evolving and they are all working together to protect occupants, both as a personal protection system and as part of an integrated system . More than 50 years have passed since the invention of seat belts into widespread use. Nearly universal laws require that seat belts be worn when traveling, whether children or adults, as this is the first line of defense at the time of the accident.
