新闻的社会价值基础是一个历史的、民族的范畴。新闻价值的发现以社会文化环境为其本源。从历史的观点来讲,由于不同历史时期社会发展状况不一样,人们的价值观亦不一样,新闻的社会价值基础就不一样。社会文化环境的不同,决定了人们新闻价值观不同。新闻社会价值观受到受众和传播者文化特质的影响。要使新闻传播真正造福于社会,就应实施合理的传播控制。
The foundation of the social value of news is a historical and ethnic category. The discovery of news value takes social and cultural environment as its origin. From a historical point of view, due to the different social development in different historical periods, people’s values are different, and the social basis of news is different. Different social and cultural environment determines the different values of people’s news. The social values of news are influenced by the cultural characteristics of audiences and communicators. To make the news truly benefit the society, we should implement reasonable control of communication.
