The 18th “Straits Textile Clothing Fair” （referred as STCF） raised the curtain on April 18th， 2015. With the growing influence at home and abroad， exhibitors and buyers have more expectations for this trade platform， and “Fashion China Trend S/S 2016” is one of them to many professional visitors.
Fashion China Trend — Casual Wear is a regular program for each session of STCF， and this year 800 pieces of fabrics selected from more than 150 domestic and foreign outstanding textile enterprises were on demonstration. In addition， in order to better guide the practical application of fabrics， there were also ready-to-wear matching up with real fabric samples as well as trends manuals on display， to show the professional use of China’ casual trends in the fashion and creative design to the audience.
The theme of the Fashion Trend released this time was“Reborn”. The world we lived in is changing in a subtle but obvious way. Fusion of fashion and technology， reshaping of ecological value， development of mobile internet and the rise of social network have substantially changed our life style and behavior pattern， bringing us a refreshing world. The theme“Reborn” was divided into four topics of “The Maker”， “Energy”， “Attitude” and “Purified”， and each topic do a detailed interpretation for lifestyle， color， fabrics and patterns of China casual fashion trend in S/S 2016 separately.
“The Maker” explained that the e-life brings us innumerable inspiration anytime and anywhere under the rapid development of mobile internet： when fashion meets with science and technology， visual expression and entertaining aesthetics are able to combine in the greatest extent， and the smart wearable trend has been integrated into our fashion lives. “Energy”refers to the attitude of rooting from the nature and resonating with environment when faced with the more serious environmental problems. Living in a green life and following the natural rules， the healthy， optimistic and vibrant attitude is motivating our creative potential and design inspiration. “Attitude” is the expression of the evolution of gender relationship occurring as the younger generation is growing into a major force of the society. Female economy rises， while men unprecedentedly participate into the family emotional life. Changes in social structure， as well as the division and integration of gender relation bring a new life attitude and disposition of the age， a good taste lifestyle and exquisite personal image have became a common aspiration for both men and women. “Purified” emphasized that through concentrating on a sole design concept and discarding all the unnecessary elements and vanities， we begin an aesthetic experience of purity and truth.
The main popularized colors includes soft orange together with shining silver and charcoal gray， rich shades of blues， exquisite and elegant pastels， as well as natural colors such as raw white， dark grey， beiges， sands， indigo and tan. In terms of fabrics， the major push includes： high-technical fabrics such as meshes， coating fabrics and light and water-proof coating fabrics； natural-imitated crack texture， rustic touch and loosen linen plaids； light， sheen， vintage as well as fine plains and basket woven knits； natural linens and cottons with rustic surface and subtle texture， transparent cotton/linen knits.
As global trend of Casual clothing raises higher requirements to STCF， the Fashion Trend added internationality， professional and fashion to the Fair.
