目的:了解口腔鳞癌(OSCC)组织中环氧合酶-2(COX-2)的表达情况,并探讨其与肿瘤发展和转移的关系。方法:应用免疫组化SP法检测40例OSCC和14例正常口腔黏膜中COX-2的表达,分析其表达和临床指标的关系。结果:OSCC中COX-2的表达显著高于正常口腔黏膜组(P<0.01),其阳性表达率分别为70.00%和14.29%;在OS-CC中的表达Ⅲ~Ⅳ期病例显著高于Ⅰ~Ⅱ期病例(p<0.05),有淋巴结转移组显著高于无淋巴结转移组(p<0.05)。结论:本研究表明在OSCC中COX-2的高表达参与了肿瘤的生长和转移,但具体机制及其在OSCC预后、治疗中的意义还需进一步研究。
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the expression of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) and to investigate its relationship with tumor development and metastasis. Methods: The expression of COX-2 in 40 cases of OSCC and 14 cases of normal oral mucosa was detected by immunohistochemical SP method. The relationship between the expression of COX-2 and clinicopathological parameters was analyzed. Results: The expression of COX-2 in OSCC was significantly higher than that in normal oral mucosa (P <0.01), and the positive rates were 70.00% and 14.29% respectively. The expression of COX-2 in OSCC was significantly higher than that in stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ ~ Ⅱ cases (p <0.05), with lymph node metastasis was significantly higher than without lymph node metastasis (p <0.05). CONCLUSIONS: This study shows that COX-2 overexpression is involved in tumor growth and metastasis in OSCC, but the specific mechanism and its significance in the prognosis and treatment of OSCC need further study.
