当代中国的先锋作家大都深受西方现代哲学(主要是存在主义)和现代派文学的影响,他们在创作的同时也或多或少地表达过自己的文论思想。残雪就是这样一个颇具代表性的先锋作家兼文论家。她的文论体现了中国当代先锋作家的文学观,这主要表现在她通过对自身创作经验的理论提炼而呈现出来,同时又通过对现代西方文学大师的解读,在一定程度上传达了她独具一格的文学观。残雪建构自己文论的具体途径和方法包括:以诗性和巫性思维即怪诞化、梦幻化的手法,对生存环境的恶化和对伦理关系、文化心理结构的全面异化(丑)的立体刻画;以新的自动写作对潜意识和自我灵魂进行独特解剖;对文学的“透明”与“黑暗”的辩证体认;以及对理想读者的召唤等方面。
