清代壮族著名诗人、学者黄焕中,字尧文,号其章,广西宁明县人。生于清道光十二年(1832年),卒于宣统三年(1911)年。著有《天涯亭吟草》诗集,共四百余首,可惜多已散佚。其父黄体元,号梅村,是当时著名的布衣诗人。黄焕中自幼丧父,家境清贫。但他一生勤奋好学,颇有才干。光绪九年(1882年)在黄焕中五十岁时,黑旗军首领刘永福赏识他的才能,礼聘他到幕府参赞军务。从此,
