At present, surface prestressing methods are commonly used in the chemical industry to improve the stress corrosion and corrosion fatigue properties of steel. Surface prestress is generated by hard particles on the surface of the jet, by means of particle impact on the metal surface plastic deformation, resulting in residual compressive stress. Stress corrosion cracking of steel, as well as tensile and torsional stress corrosion fatigue caused by the tensile stress on the component surface. If the surface of the tensile stress can be eliminated or cause compressive stress state, then the steel stress corrosion and corrosion fatigue performance is improved.
