书法苦涩的心曲陈平的书法第一次引起我的惊异,是在1989年年初的“全国第四届书法篆刻作品展览”的评选会上。这是一幅规格为93×170cm的作品:《清人袁龙曲》,在众多作品的衬映下,愈发使人感到陈平的恣肆、宕逸、稚拙与苦涩。此作启首用笔沉密,结体平稳,然而笔势走向异峰突起,错综参差的感觉使人始料不及,时而枯劲,时而漫润,时而如绝岸怪石之嶒峻,时而如彤云寒烟之弥散,此中意象繁,真是古人所谓“同自然之妙有”。陈平忘记了这是在写字,他只不过藉助词曲的形式来构筑自己心态的灵巢。古典艺术的规范是秩序,比例,对称,和谐,并强调智力观念是控制及表现的重要本能,凭此本能才培养与变化,但却不能表现自由决定的爱好,只能表现被迫接受的理想。书法的古典形态的发展,就存在着这样的现象。书法由原始状态的无序进入到自觉状态的有序,意味着形式的完美,是书法家智力的深化。书法艺术的历史积淀,不仅确立了有序的法度规范,也确立了经典的形式风范,使后来的人更多地在“被迫接受的理想中”去表现自身与古典的异同,而渐渐地将自由地去感受自然给
