First of all, on behalf of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, I would like to extend my warm congratulation on the convening of the Second National Conference on Debris Flow. I would like to express my warm congratulation on the convening of the four units (Chengdu Institute of Geography, Academia Sinica, Southwest Institute of Scientific Research Institute of the Ministry of Railways, Coordination Center for Research on Geological Natural Disasters of Gansu Academy of Sciences And Chengdu University of Science and Technology Institute of Water Conservancy and Hydropower) Joint Preparatory Group comrades expressed gratitude to the leaders of provinces and municipalities to give guidance and support to the meeting thanked the representatives from all over the country
