为从攀枝花选矿厂的磁选尾矿中综合回收钛铁矿及钴镍硫化物,年产五万吨钛精矿的试验性的生产厂—攀矿选钛厂,于1978年7月1日破土动工,至1979年年底基本建成。 选钛厂设计选用的综合回收流程是:强磁选—重选—硫化物浮选—电选联合流程。设计规定日产含TiO_2 46~48%的钛精矿151.68吨,付产含Co0.3%的硫钴精矿19.44吨,钛精矿生产成本103元/吨 (投资修改后成本)。
