本示范试验1991~1995年,在桃源县盘塘茶场进行。结果表明,运用低产茶园改造综合技术,取得了预期效果:(1)茶叶产量由1991年1050kg/公顷,上升到1994年2255.10kg/公顷,增加1.14倍;(2)茶叶品质,改造后的茶园比对照,正常芽叶提高35个百分点,氨基酸提高21.37%,茶多酚提高4.33%,水浸出物提高5.70%,酚氨比下降1.84;(3)茶园产值,除改造当年减少16.13%外,到第三年增加达2.04倍以上,改造茶园投资全部收回。同时,带动了示范区周围茶园“低改”工作开展,具有明显的社会效益和生态效益。
