21世纪的社会,是一个进步与文明的社会。女性在不断崛起,随着女性主义运动的推进以及人们思想的进步,越来越多优秀的女性出现在电视荧屏上。电视作为影响力深远的传统大众媒介,在塑造女性形象方面起到了至关重要的作用。但是,受世界性的“女性=第二性”思想以及中国传统封建文化“重男轻女”思想的影响,电视新闻在报道中仍存在一定程度的性别歧视。“女人不是天生的,而是后天被造成的。妇女在社会中是次于男性的第二性。”~((1))
The 21st century society is a progressive and civilized society. Women are constantly rising. With the advancing of the feminist movement and the progress of people’s thinking, more and more excellent women appear on television screens. Television, as a far-reaching traditional mass media, plays a crucial role in shaping women’s image. However, influenced by the global thinking of “feminine = second sex” and the thought of “patriarchal” by Chinese traditional feudal culture, there is still some gender discrimination in the coverage of television news. “Women are not born but acquired. Women are second to men in society.” ~ ((1))
