在殷墟的晚商文化遗存中,存在大量北方文化因素,各类型单位中均有发现。祭祀坑是祭祀先王或其他神祗或建筑奠基时用以埋葬人牲和其他牺牲、祭品的土坑。目前所见出土北方文化因素祭祀坑主要有侯家庄西北岗王陵的“刀斧葬”、乙七建筑基址祭祀坑和武官村北祭祀坑等。本文将就这些单位中的北方文化因素及其所蕴含的意义进行讨论。一、北方文化因素的种类祭祀坑中的北方文化因素可分为刀子、管銎斧、挂缰钩等三类。
