汽车起动系统由起动机、蓄电池、控制开关和连接导线组成。起动机是直流串激电机(小型除外),它把电能转变成使电枢轴转动的机械能,借起动机小齿轮与飞轮齿环的机械啮合驱动发动机曲轴。设计的小齿轮与飞轮的传动比和蓄电池的性能务必与满足发动机要求的起动转矩一速度特性相匹配。
Car starting system consists of starter, battery, control switch and connecting wire. The starter is a DC series motor (except a small one) that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy that rotates the armature shaft and drives the engine crankshaft by mechanical engagement of the starter pinion with the flywheel ring. Design of the pinion and flywheel gear ratio and battery performance must meet the requirements of the engine starting torque to match the speed characteristics.
