Jerome put forward the proposition that “Bible translation should be translated by literal translation and literary translation”, which divides the strict boundaries between sacred text translation and secular text translation. Until Campbell and Morrison proposed the pursuit of Bible translation at three levels, the dualistic opposition changed. Yan Fu, who proposed the principle of translating “Cinda”, translated the passage of “the Bible”. The translator of the Bible, Lv Zhenzhong, clearly stated that Bible translation should be balanced with “Cinda” and strive to practice this standard. This paper examines the practice of Biblical translation based on the translation thought of Lv Zhenzhong and discusses the meaning of “Cinda” and its value in translation.
