对萝卜杂种一代光合作用及同化产物积累特点的初步研究证明,优良的萝卜杂种一代在肉质根膨大的中后期具有显著的光合优势和积累优势,同化产物积累的特点主要取决于肉质根次生木质部和三生木质部的结构状况,而杂种优势的表现又与高产亲本的光合产量和双亲肉质根木质部的结构密切相关.因此,可以通过对光合强度、光合产量的测定和对肉质根木质部结构特点的观察来选配亲本,并预测杂种优势.
